Kiss Nail Dress

Hey all! So I finally got around to testing my Kiss Nail Dress from my Influenster Love Vox Box. As you may know from some of my other nail posts, I love creating my own nail designs. I love the satisfaction of saying, "Oh, I did that myself!" and seeing everyone's pure amazement when they look at my nails. So the idea of the Nail Dress seemed kind of lazy to me. Don't get me wrong I love the idea of these, I just feel like I'm doing myself an injustice. Well that was before! After seeing how easy these were to apply I may have just changed my mind.
My Leopard Kiss Nail Dress!
Finger Paints - Figure of Art, with Kiss Nail Dress accent finger
Product Details
Kiss Nail Dress is the ultimate nail fashion for tips and toes! To apply is easy, just peel, apply, and shape for a manicure that lasts up to 10 days. On in minutes, off in seconds without remover. Nail Dress is available in 18 different styles, many of them featuring 3-dimensional jeweled designs. Skip the topcoat, Nail Dress has it built in. With 28 strips in each package, you can cut up your extras to create designs that can be used on top of polished or artificial nails. Nail Dress doesn’t dry out the way other polish strips can, so you can save them to use on your next DIY mani. A nail design booklet is included in each package, just in case you need a little inspiration. And don’t forget about your feet! Nail Dress looks awesome on toes, too – just use the square side of the sticker for a perfect fit.

Where to Buy
Nail Dress’ suggested retail is $6.99 and is available in all major drug chains and mass retailers like WalMart, CVS and Walgreens.

My Review
I saw some reviews that made it look super challenging and impossible to apply these, which made me completely freaked out. I hate to say it, but I don't know what was happening for those people. If you've ever placed a sticker on something, well your pretty much set! I made sure my nails were completely clean before applying with a little nail polish remover. I placed the Nail Dress right under my cuticle and smoothed out the edges. The Nail Dress are relatively long and since my nails are pretty short right now, I cut off some excess after applying. Then I folded over the remaining excess and with the supplied nail file, I filed of the remaining Nail Dress. I really can't believe how easy it was to apply and how much it looks like polish. There are varying shapes so it was super easy to find a sticker that matched the size of my nail. They've held up really well, and best part no chipping!! I think these are great. I can't wait to be a little more creative and cut some of them and create different nail designs. I also really want the one with rhinestones!!

Let me know what you think! Have you ever tried nail stickers like the Kiss Nail Dress or Sally Hansen's Nail Effects? Want to see what else I received in my Influester Love Vox Box?

Truvía® natural sweetener Product Review

Craving something sweet, but don't want those nasty calories on your conscience? Now you don't have to with Truvia® a ZERO-calorie sweetener. I received this Truvia® sample in my Influenster Love VoxBox and was super excited!

Product Details
Truvia®, unlike other zero-calorie sweeteners is completely natural. What does that mean? Well this sweetener comes from the leaves of the stevia plant. So it's an all natural sweetener, with the same great taste as sugar. Unlike artificial sweeteners which I personally hesitate to use because their unknown ability to be processed by the body, Truvia® is natural and in my opinion better for you. Some also prefer the taste of Truvia® over that of artificial sweeteners. This natural sweetener is gluten-free and safe for diabetics. So basically a win-win in all areas!!

Where to Buy
Truvía® natural sweetener is available nationally at most major retailers and in package sizes of 40-count, 80-count, 140-count and a spoonable jar.

My Review
I usually stick to the good old fashion real sugar, but I may be switching soon. I know that my mom uses these Truvia® packets in her coffee every morning. I thought the taste was just like sugar and would never know the difference. After receiving this sample from Influester I'm kind of hooked on it. I'm probably going to buy the big spoonable jar. I love making homemade lemonade during the summer, but it requires a LOT of sugar. With the spoonable jar I replace the sugar with Truvia® and spoon out the correct amount I need. Then my lemonade might be just a little bit healthier and nothing is better than that! If you are someone who uses artificial sweeteners for whatever reason, I'd recommend switching over to Truvia®. Believe me your body will thank you in the long run!

I'm also thinking of making a lip scrub with the individual packets. Anyone want to see a tutorial?

Venus & Olay Razor

Ready for Spring? What's Spring without getting out your Spring clothes including shorts, skirts, and dresses? Worried about those legs that haven't seen civilization for a couple of months? Don't be! I recently received my Influenster Love VoxBox which included the Gillette Venus and Olay Razor. This razor is brand new and is being released tomorrow March 15th!
Product Details
First let's start with the razor. Venus’ five-bladed razors help to shave you close and can adjust to women’s curves for a smooth and comfortable shave, even over tricky shaving areas like knees and ankles due to the razor's pivoting head design. Gillette teamed up with Olay to provide an Olay Moisture Bars that contains skin-enhancing elements found in Olay products such as, Petrolatum which helps lock in skin’s moisture for less dryness and Glycerin that helps offer that goddess glow!

Where to Buy
A refillable Venus & Olay with one replacement cartridge sells for approximately $8.99-$10.99. Packages of three replacement cartridges are available for about $14.99 - $19.49.
Venus & Olay will be available starting March 15, 2012 at food, drug, convenience and mass merchandise stores throughout the United States.

My Review
I've never been too picky on the razors I use, but after using this razor I sure will be (if I ever buy a different razor). There is absolutely no need for shaving cream, as the Olay Moisture Bars do all the work. When using this razor I barely feel it. This doesn't mean I'm not getting a close shave, actually it's quite the opposite. This is probably the most comfortable shave I have ever had! The biggest bonus for me is the Olay Moisture Bar. First off the smell is wonderful! It makes me want to shave my whole body. The scent is a lovely mix of what I would describe as caramel or vanilla. The Olay Moisture Bar also leaves behind a slight residue, which I rub in after I shave. This helps to lock in the moisture and keep my legs nourished throughout the day. I'm still surprised after a long day my legs are still silky soft from using this product. I hate to say it everyone, but I really don't have anything negative to say. The product also comes with a wall cling to hang the razor up on the shower wall between uses! I would recommend this razor to everyone, especially if you want Goddess Skin.
